Wednesday. For me that means we'll have a chapel schedule at school, and I'll need to run powerpoint for worship with the computer that tends to quit on us. I have a music lesson after school that I'm not ready for, and this evening we're taking our robot down to the DECC to get ready for the regional competition. It's going to be a long day for me, and probably more so for you. This is my motivational speech for you. Have the best day you can.
Live so hard your glasses get smudged.
Keep going when your life is rough,
and when you're much too harshly judged
you are yourself, and that's enough.
Live so hard you break a nail.
Just because you messed this up
doesn't mean you'll always fail.
You know you're great, don't ever let up.
Live so hard you get a headache.
Do your best and don't back down,
not for me, but for your own sake.
I know the smile behind your frown.
Live so hard you don't look back.
The trail you traverse is one of trial,
you've always been under attack.
When you fall, know it's not final.
You're a fighter, of that please never lose track.
